Students` media organisation “Insite" has one free place in Malta for European Voluntary Service (EVS) program, starting in August 2008 and finishing in May 2009.

”Insite" is looking for a person, interested in website, magazine and newspaper production. There is only one place: you must be native English speaker or have a very good command of English.

Job Overview

A growing student media organization would like to offer an experience within its Development branch for a person to act as a Marketing and Human Resources assistant by working with the Development Officer.

Job Description
-To assist Media Officer, take part in weekly Editorial Board’s meetings and editing the articles
-To assist Website Editor in all necessary tasks, especially updating the webpage
- To create or amend Editorial Policy
- To hold trainings about journalism and creative writing for "Insite" writers
- To promote "Youth in action" projects for the students of the University of Malta, especially "Insite" members
- To attend any courses about journalism and online media being held either in Malta or through "Youth in Action" activities
- To promote "Insite"`s newspaper "Insiter"
- To take part in "Insiter"`s proofreading
- To write articles for "Insiter"
- To be the main responsible for blogs in the website
- To send daily student news to Editorial Board as well as update them in the website daily
- To suggest and make draft proposal for new "Insite" media products
- To write monthly EVS blog in "Insiter"
- To assist External Relations Officer writing "Insite" press releases
- To assist Operations Officer in distributing "Insiter"
