The mission of the Euroscience Open Forum (ESOF) is to provide both the European and the international science communities with an open platform for debate and communication. It presents and profiles Europe's leading research trends in the sciences, humanities and social sciences. It is an opportunity to discuss and influence the future of research and innovation in Europe.

Travel Grants: ESOF2008 is an interdisciplinary non-profit event seeking to foster debate on science and society. It relies exclusively on its partners for the necessary means. ESOF2008 is therefore not in a position to provide funding for journalists or scientists. However, the following organisations are offering travel grants for scientists and journalists, who wish to participate at ESOF2008.
Deadline for application is April 10th, 2008.
