The Academy for Educational Development is recruiting Administrative Assistant/Receptionist.

The Strengthening Civil Society Capacity in Moldova (SCSMCM) Program, which is funded by the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), managed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by the Academy for Educational Development (AED), is recruiting an Administrative Assistant/Reception ist. The Program seeks to strengthen the monitoring capacity of civil society and mass media to help prevent and deter corruption and runs through March, 2009. The responsibilities of the position include:


* Receives and re-routes all phone calls, incoming correspondence by fax, email, and mail professionally and promptly.
* Type correspondence, reports, and other communication or documents. Make photocopies and maintain accurate filing system.
* Maintain central office files (electronic and paper) for official documents and correspondence.
* Welcome and assist all visitors promptly, warmly, and professionally
* Assist Operations/Translat ion Manager with communication activities
* Order and maintain supplies
* Assist in maintenance of equipment and supply inventory
* Keep lists of names, addresses and telephone numbers of officials and organizations involved or related to activities
* Assist in organizing workshops, meetings and other events
* Provide administrative and executive assistance to the Chief of Party and Deputy Chief of Party
* Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements include, completion of secondary school and good communication skills (Romanian, English). Business, technical, or university degree is preferred. Interested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter to office@ade.md by April 25, 2008.
