The theme of the third IEU-SUNY, Cortland International Conference in Economics is “Emerging Economic Issues in a Globalized World”. The Economics Departments of Izmir University of Economics and State University of New York at Cortland have been organizing an annual conference in economics around a selected theme of current interest to the economics and business academia since 2006.
This year’s conference will take place in Izmir on May 1st and 2nd 2008. We invite you all to submit paper proposals on any economic issue that has acquired a significant new dimension in the last two decades. Proposals must be submitted, by March 15th, 2008, at ecoconference2008@ieu.edu.tr
Decisions will be made by March 22, 2008. Proposals should be no more than 500-words and include the following: Title (60 character limit) Objectives Data/Methods Results/Expected Results Conclusion To be included in the proceedings full papers must be submitted electronically by April 15,2007.
